Amy and I met on a dating site called Upward. We were both at the end of our options with online dating. As the bible says, time and chance happen to us all. We quickly transitioned from the app to video chats, texting, and evening phone calls after we both got off work. All were centered on God, prayer, and time in the Word, with an underlying current of direction and a desire for more time together. Then, we decided to meet in person on a whim at Hardy's Coffee Shop. It was an instant connection over a cup of coffee and a long, brisk walk that changed the rest of our lives forever in one night. I still remember going a little early, nervously and eagerly waiting for her arrival. The first thing she said to me was, " You didn't think I was going to show up, did you?" Little did I know she was the one I had been waiting for all of my life.
